What's New at MHISC

MHISC: The Book       Facebook       Director's Blog     Industry News

Keeping MHISC members informed is a multi-faceted job.

One challenge is that association members need three types of information:

"Hard news"  - new developments in government that directly impact members.  Federal, state and local government policy changes can all be vitally important.  In most cases, MHISC will be the only source for key developments.  No other association or government agency handles this responsibility.

"Association News" - meetings, new benefits and services. New ways to get the most out of your membership.

"Member News" - The manufactured home industry in SC is a close-knit one.  Members development long-term friendship and business relationships based on mutual respect.  To the MHISC staff is news that we and our members care about as much as any other type of information.  When a member is ill or loses a loved one, we join together in support.  When a member gets a promotion or other good news we join together in congratulations.

How do members stay informed?

This What's New at MHISC section of the website is a good place to start. Members get the word through the Industry News section linked on this page. Our Facebook page is a fun way to keep up. The Director's Blog is a behind-the-scenes look at the industry and association laced with wry touches of humor.

In other sections of www.MHISC.com, copies and easy-to-follow summaries of the new laws and rules are posted on the Member Library page.

Other valuable sources of information are Update magazine, MODern Times newsletter, email alerts and our state and local chapter meetings. Of course a key advantage of www.MHISC.com is that the website is a 24 /7 resource instantly available to current members.

MHISC is the voice of the manufactured and modular home industries in South Carolina.
