South Carolina continues its fourth year in a row of steady growth.   For the first four months of 2017, shipments for the Palmetto State are up 17% over last year. For April, SC was the Number Three Sales Gainer in the Nation with an 82% increase!

But there's even more good news. Market research shows that this trend will continue through to at least 2025, and potentially beyond. A recent study by Persistent Market Research on trends in the manufactured housing market forecasts long term continued growth through the next 8 years. This study covered the years 2012 to 2025.

As site-built homes become increasingly unaffordable, manufactured and modular homes are filling the gap. Reasonably priced housing will continue to be an issue in North America, according to the research, and the manufactured housing industry offers the best solution.
